About the event

Cleaning is usually treated as something to get through. This module aims to turn it into something else entirely. It explores how order, rhythm, and a caring gesture can change the atmosphere of a home, a classroom, or a workplace, and how a well kept space can become a refuge of calm and clarity. 


Alongside practical demonstrations, we will work with observation, natural cleaning methods, and the small decisions that shape a space. Attention is also given to inner attitude; the way we clean matters as much as what we clean. The work becomes steadier, less exhausting, and quietly strengthening for everyday life.

Linda Thomas was born in South Africa in 1953. In March 1988 she founded an "ecological cleaning institute" which was considered unique in Switzerland. Her love of being a housewife made Linda discover a different meaning in everyday ‘chores’ and, once she started…
